GPS Industries, Inc. an innovator of Wi-Fi wireless and GPS-enabled multimedia communications and management solutions for golf facilities and Party Poker today announced a joint marketing program to enable Party Poker to promote an online poker tournament to more than 80,000 golfers.
Under the pilot program, golfers at 15 golf courses that use GPS Industries' portable handheld and cart-mounted units will receive promotions for the upcoming tournament. Under the terms of the agreement, Party Poker will compensate GPS Industries for every player who signs up through the GPS units.
Pending successful completion of the pilot, GPS Industries plans to expand this type of program globally to its golf courses worldwide.
